Priority Features

  • Free account and project saving – lets users save and re-open work across sessions/devices, so final outputs are easier to finish and improve over time.
  • Registration perks (still free app) – allows registered users to remove watermark and disable video end screen for cleaner outputs.
  • In-workflow guidance improvements – helps users place better landmarks and get stronger alignment results on first attempt.

Export and Output Enhancements

  • Animated WebP export – allows users to use animated assets in a wider range of places where GIF or MP4 may be less suitable (for example blog post featured images and lightweight embeds).
  • More export presets – provides ready-made output templates for common social/blog formats to reduce manual crop/setup.
  • Smarter fallback messaging – suggests best alternative format when a platform rejects a selected export type.

Capture and Alignment Enhancements

  • Improved camera framing hints – helps users capture better modern photos, producing cleaner final overlays.
  • Advanced camera match mode (optional) – improves difficult alignments by estimating perspective/camera behavior before warp.
  • Alignment troubleshooting panel – gives practical fix suggestions when outputs look distorted or unstable.

Companion Workflow Integrations

  • Open in external animation tool (optional) – lets users take GhostViewer outputs into a post-production workflow for intros/outros and extra polish.
  • Open in external image editor (optional) – helps users improve input photos before alignment (exposure, crop, cleanup).
  • Outbound tracking for tool links – measures real usage of companion links to guide future integration priorities.

Community and Discovery Features

  • Historic photo discovery integration – helps users find source photos and start more projects directly from curated archives.
  • Creation showcase/gallery – helps users share results, inspire others, and improve attribution visibility for source images.
