Taken in August 1967, this photo shows two Leyland Atlantean buses with Alexander 78-seater bodywork in George Square North, both operated by Glasgow Corporation Transport. The one on the left is LA74 (SGD 652) dating from 1962 whilst the other vehicle is LA331 (KUS 586E) dating from 1967, waiting to depart on route 20 for Drumchapel. First Glasgow now operate most of the bus services in Glasgow including route 20, which extends from East Kilbride via city centre to Drumchapel. The City Chambers can just be seen on the right of the photo.
